The past week brought two important events for members of our team. Interestingly, both took place in the Prof. Jerzy Dembczyński Auditorium (Aula Magna) at Poznan University of Technology, although they marked very different stages of an academic career.

On 28 May 2026, the university held its doctoral and habilitation promotion ceremony. Among those receiving their doctoral diplomas was also a member of DoSPaN. The event marked the symbolic culmination of several years of research work and an important milestone in their scientific career.

The following day, a ceremony for awarding state and ministerial decorations to employees of Poznan University of Technology took place. During the event, one of our colleagues was awarded the Bronze Medal for Long Service. This state decoration is granted in recognition of exemplary and exceptionally conscientious professional service and constitutes an expression of appreciation for long-term commitment and dedication.

Both events marked important moments in the professional lives of our team members and provided an opportunity to recognize achievements at different stages of an academic career.
