September 2024 was very rich in thematic conferences! On September 19-20, the 13th Vacuum Technology Conference (VTC) took place, organized for many years by the Institute of Physics of the Polish Academy of Sciences with the participation of the Polish Vacuum Society. This series of conferences aims to support the cooperation of the scientific community using vacuum techniques and technologies and to provide a forum for presenting research results and exchanging specialist knowledge. DoSPaN team is a regular participant of VTC, this time we presented an invited lecture:

And just a few days later, between September 22-26, the 10th International Workshop on Surface Physics (IWSP) took place. The event was traditionally organized by the Institute of Experimental Physics of the University of Wrocław. The meeting traditionally took place in one of the small towns located among the picturesque hills near Wrocław. So far, each workshop has focused on a selected, important topic in the field of surface science. This year’s theme of IWSP2024 was Atom, molecules, and everything else on surfaces. The DoSPaN team had the opportunity to present as many as three topics in the form of oral presentations:
