For years, the idea of the PTP Congress has been to exchange experiences and establish and maintain cooperation between scientists dealing with vacuum technologies, as well as industry representatives working in this field. This year’s PTP Congress was held on July 6-7 in Krakow. The event was organized by the Polish Vacuum Society and the Faculty of Physics, Astronomy, and Applied Computer Science of the Jagiellonian University. This year, the PTP Congress had the opportunity to be held concurrently with the 10th National Nanotechnology Conference.
The DoSPaN team took part in the Congress in a very large group. We presented four topics:
Development of a PtSe2 surface cleaning method and study of its morphology and electronic properties using STM/S techniques
Electrical characterization of mechanically exfoliated Bi2Se3 flakes
Two-dimensional surface alloys on Pt (111): electronic and structural properties
Sensors for magnetic diagnostics in extreme conditions manufactured using vacuum techniques
