From 6 to 14 June 2022, we were the third time this year for synchrotron research, this time at the ALBA Synchrotron center in Barcelona. BL29 BOREAS – HECTOR is the end line equipped with a vector magnet (6 T / 2 T) enabling the use of soft X-ray radiation to study magnetic properties using X-ray absorption spectroscopy and magnetic linear and circular dichroism. We conducted supplementary studies of the 2D system of Gd-Pt surface alloys on the Pt (111) single crystal.
