In addition to the recently organized ECOSS 36 conference, the Surface Science Toolbox 2023 School was also held as a satellite event. The School itself lasted from August 23 to 26, its host was the Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznan, and the main organizer was the International Union for Vacuum Science, Technique and Applications (IUVSTA).

The school was aimed mainly at PhD students and aspiring young researchers. On-site, participants had the opportunity to learn in practice many advanced surface science techniques under the supervision of the best specialists in this field. The DoSPaN team took an active part in this event, our students participated in the prepared workshops, and the staff got involved in organizing the classes.
