We are extremely pleased to announce that, by the decision of the Discipline Council: Materials Engineering, our teammate obtained a PhD degree!

The open defense of the doctoral thesis, which took place on March 1, 2024, gathered a large group of interested people. The participants had the opportunity to listen to the presentation and take part in an interesting discussion on the presented topic:

Preparation and characterization of two-dimensional surface alloys of rare earth metals on Pt (111)

The Doctoral Committee made a unanimous decision to award a distinction to the presented work. This event was made even more colorful by the fact that after the results were announced, each of those present had the opportunity to receive a copy of the dissertation with an autograph from the author herself! 🙂
