On January 13, 2022, the publication “Controlled growth of Gd-Pt surface alloys on Pt (111)” was published in the Physical Review B: Condensed Matter and Materials Physics journal describing the growth, structural and electronic properties of two-dimensional Gd-Pt surface alloys on the surface of the Pt (111) single crystal. The authors of the work are members of DoSPaN team, the Department of Computational Physics and Nanomechanics of the PP, and colleagues from the research group of Professor Roland Wiesendanger in Hamburg.
