At the turn of October and November this year, one of the world’s largest thematic conferences devoted to broadly understood sensory technology took place. The IEEE SENSORS series conferences provide a communication forum for scientists, engineers, and practitioners from around the world who have the opportunity to present their latest research results, ideas, and applications in the areas of sensors and sensing technologies.
IEEE SENSORS are signed by the American Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers and organized by the IEEE Sensors Council. IEEE SENSORS 2023 took place in Vienna and was co-organized by the Technical University TU Wien. Enjoying record popularity, this year’s edition gathered over 600 participants from all over the world – our team’s representatives were there as well! We presented 2 oral presentations in the Magnetic Sensors category, which also discussed articles published by us in the IEEE Sensors Letters magazine, as part of the qualifications of conference participants:
Magnetic Field Sensor Operating From Cryogenics to Elevated Temperatures
Additionally, this year the conference was combined with the celebration of the 25th anniversary of the Sensors Council – for this reason, the event was accompanied by a ceremonial ball celebrating this occasion, which took place within the walls of the Hofburg Palace, once the main residence of the imperial Habsburg dynasty in Austria!
