The ECOSS conference is a traditional annual meeting chaired jointly by the Department of Surface Sciences of the International Union of Vacuum Science, Technology and Applications (IUVSTA) and the Surface and Interface Section of the European Physical Society (EPS).
The conference is an excellent opportunity for scientists from Europe and around the world to meet and discuss the latest developments in surface physics and chemistry. In addition, it provides a forum for discussing the impact of surface science in related areas of innovation such as heterogeneous catalysis, 2D materials and graphene, nanoelectronics, bio-nanoscience and energy materials.
This year the conference took place between August 29 and September 2 at the University of Luxembourg.
The DoSPaN team had a one-man representation there! We presented the topic:
Investigation of Temperature-Dependent Raman Spectroscopy on Thin PtSe2 Layers on Al2O3 Substrate
