At the turn of November and December 2022, the XI Workshop on Applications of Scanning Probe Microscopy – STM/AFM took place. It is a cyclical event bringing together scientists involved in surface science research using scanning tunneling microscopy, atomic force microscopy, and other related techniques operating in ultra-high vacuum and liquid/gas atmospheres. This biennial seminar is an interdisciplinary meeting of representatives of various scientific disciplines, with particular emphasis on young scientists just starting their scientific careers.
The STM/AFM 2022 Workshop occurred between November 30 and December 4 in Zakopane (Poland).
The DoSPaN team presented 2 topics:
Characterization of the influence of preparation methods on the surface morphology of PtSe2
Design and characterization of variable temperature scanning tunneling microscope VT-STM
